LTW Transit Service End of Operations

The Leamington to Windsor (LTW) Transit Service was discontinued effective April 30, 2026.

This outcome followed the expiry of provincial funding and the County of Essex’s decision not to provide ongoing financial support for the regional service.

Since its launch in 2019, LTW had provided an important transportation link for residents travelling between Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, and Windsor, connecting people to education, employment, and essential services.

Erie Shore Community Transit

South Essex Community Council is part of a group of agencies providing transportation services across Windsor-Essex County. The program offers affordable door-to-door transportation including service to Windsor and across Essex County. Travel for appointments, socializing, errands, shopping, volunteering or visiting friends and family.
