Community Led Special Events
The Town of Kingsville recognizes the importance of Special Events fostering a strong community through enhancements to tourism, education, and boosting our local economy. We are excited to support initiatives of all kinds that bring our community together. To ensure that all events taking place in the Town of Kingsville meet specific safety criteria, Special Events By-law 22-2026 was passed, being a By-law to Regulate and Permit Special Events in the Town of Kingsville. This By-law outlines the parameters required to obtain a Special Events Permit through the Special Events Review Team (SERT) process.
The SERT process aligns with the Town's Special Event Guide and helps Event Organizers determine what licences, permits, and other application materials are required to hold a Special Event in the Town of Kingsville. To ensure that the Town of Kingsville can properly review and certify an event, please submit your application at least ninety (90) days prior to the event date. Earlier submissions provide more time for review and processing.
