Meet our Team
Business Relations
Brandon Stanley is Kingsville's Business Relations Officer. With his extensive experience in economic strategy and business leadership, Brandon's key focuses are positively and proactively supporting businesses of all scale in Kingsville, attracting and developing new investments, business retention, and advocacy for growth in Kingsville.
The Business Relations Officer supports business by:
- Meeting with potential investors and internal municipal staff to help facilitate development within the Town
- Meeting with existing business owners to address and mediate concerns, gather information and provide recommendations to Senior Management Team and Council on new By-laws or policy changes
- Connecting existing businesses with resources or grants provided by partner organizations (e.g., WE Small Business Centre, RED grants)
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with industry associations, government bodies, educational institutions, and community groups
Building Services
Rob Frias is Kingsville's Chief Building Official. Rob has a diploma from St. Clair College in Civil Engineering Technology and has been serving the Kingsville community as a Building Official since 2006. Rob is fully accredited by the Province of Ontario for building qualifications and has designations as a “Certified Building Code Official” as well as his “Municipal Administration Program."
Building supports business by:
- Providing services relating to building, renovations and expansions
- Reviewing plans, inspecting construction and issuing permits
- Providing information to help you meet your building and renovating goals
Planning Services
Allen Burgess is Kingsville’s Manager of Planning, providing professional advice to the Town and contributing to its strategic vision through progressive leadership and management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo, a Municipal Administration Certificate from St. Lawrence College, and an Urban Design Diploma from Fanshawe College. Allen is also a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP).
Planning supports business by:
- Providing property information
- Conducting development reviews
- Processing site plan approvals, zoning amendments, and subdivision applications
