The Town of Kingsville administers Fireworks By-law 102-2003, which regulates the sale and discharge of fireworks in the Town.

Consumer Fireworks are outdoor, low hazard, recreational fireworks offered for sale to the general public. Consumer fireworks may only be set off within the Town of Kingsville on the following dates: 

• The third Monday of the month of May, being Victoria Day
• Canada Day (July 1)
• The first Monday of August, being the Civic Holiday
• The first Monday of September, being Labour Day
• New Year's Eve Day (December 31)
• The date of any community functions approved by the Council for the Town of Kingsville

Sky lanterns, including flying lanterns and wish lanterns are not permitted to be discharged in the Town.

Display Fireworks are outdoor, high hazard, recreational fireworks that are discharged by professionals certified by Natural Resources Canada - Explosives Regulatory Division. Display Fireworks require a permit issued by the Town.
