Preliminary work on construction of the watermain for the new west side collector road extending Heritage Road to Road 2 West will begin on Monday, March 17, 2025 and continue throughout the year. The watermain will service the south western portion of Kingsville.
Kingsville has initiated a review of the areas available for development (residential, commercial, industrial) to look at the adjustment and reallocation of lands within Kingsville, Cottam and Ruthven, which are identified in the 2024 County Official Plan for land use.

The Committee of Adjustment and Appeals will review the following application at its February 18, 2025 meeting: 1871 Heritage Road (County Road 50): An application for lot creation. The applicant is proposing to sever the existing vacant lot into a total of three (3) residential lots.
Provincial investment will facilitate the construction of up to 2,927 homes On January 23, 2025, Anthony Leardi, MPP for the Riding of Essex, announced that the Ontario government is investing $7,437,500 in critical infrastructure to facilitate the construction of up to 2,927 new homes in Kingsville.
The Town of Kingsville is happy to announce that the Food Bank is moving to Lions Hall. This Lions Club generously donated Lions Hall and Lions Park, located at 21 Mill Street North, to the Town in 2003.

Effective January 1, 2024, the Town of Kingsville moved to a lifetime dog-licensing program. Under the program, dog owners are only required to purchase a new “lifetime” license at a one-time fee of $75.
Applications for a Short-Term Rental Licence are now available on the Town’s website at www.kingsville.ca/STR.
On November 4, 2024, Kingsville Town Council adopted By-law 82-2024, which mandates that all Short-Term Rentals (STRs) in the Town must be licensed to operate or advertise.
