Paperless Billing

The Town is offering a simple and convenient way for you to receive your bill. When enrolling for this service, you will receive an electronic copy of your bill in place of a paper bill. Complete the Paperless Billing Registration Form to enroll.

Payment Options

The Town offers a variety of ways for you to pay your water bill.

The Town offers two types of pre-authorized payment plans for water accounts:

  • Monthly - this option automatically withdraws your estimated monthly water charges from your bank account on the last business day of each month
  • Due date - this option automatically withdraws the full amount of your quarterly water bill on the due date

Please fill out the Pre-Authorized Payment Form to enroll.

The Town accepts payments through most banking institutions. This includes online banking, telephone banking and payments made in-person at your branch.

Please set up the Town of Kingsville as a payee with your bank using your 11-digit water account number.

Please note that some banking institutions take one to three business days to transfer funds to the Town. Please allow for this delay when making payments through your bank. Payments are processed on the date they are received by the Town.

Payments can be made at Town Hall on business days between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. The following payment methods are accepted;

  • Cash
  • Cheque (made out to the Town of Kingsville)

Credit Card payments are not accepted for water accounts.

If you cannot make it during business hours, payments by cheque can be dropped in the slot located on right hand side of the main entrance to Town Hall.

Return the top portion of your bill with your cheque to:

Town of Kingsville
2021 Division Road North
Kingsville, ON
N9Y 2Y9

Please make cheques payable to the "Town of Kingsville" and include your account number in the memo field.

There are a number of third-party service providers that will allow you to pay your water bill with a credit card. This service is provided through Plastiq. Please be advised that service fees may apply.

Attention Landlords and Tenants

Important - Effective January 1, 2022, residential tenants will no longer be able to set up a water account in their name. After this date, all new residential water accounts will be billed directly to the property owner.

For a commercial tenant to receive the water bill in their name, they must provide the Town with either a deposit or a guarantee authorization form.

Commercial Tenant Deposits

Location Type

Deposit amount

Business without sanitary sewers

$150

Business with sanitary sewers

$250

Tenant deposits are refunded when the account is closed, net of any outstanding charges. Please submit a Tenant Deposit Form with your deposit.

Tenant Guarantees

Any property owner in the Town of Kingsville that is in good standing with their accounts can "guarantee" the water account for a tenant. By signing a Tenant Guarantee Form the guarantor assumes responsibility for the payment of the tenant's account if they default. This eliminates the need for the tenant to provide a deposit.

Moving? Update your Water Account

To set up a water account or schedule a final meter reading, please fill out our Request for Water Meter Reading Form.

High water bill? Check for leaks!

The average household uses 40-70 m3 of water during a 3-month billing period. If your water consumption is much higher, you may have a leak.

The most common causes of high water bills are:

  • Running toilets
  • Sprinkler systems
  • Water powered back-up sump pumps
  • Leaky faucets
