Attention Landlords and Tenants
Important - Effective January 1, 2022, residential tenants will no longer be able to set up a water account in their name. After this date, all new residential water accounts will be billed directly to the property owner.
For a commercial tenant to receive the water bill in their name, they must provide the Town with either a deposit or a guarantee authorization form.

Tenant Guarantees
Any property owner in the Town of Kingsville that is in good standing with their accounts can "guarantee" the water account for a tenant. By signing a Tenant Guarantee Form the guarantor assumes responsibility for the payment of the tenant's account if they default. This eliminates the need for the tenant to provide a deposit.

High water bill? Check for leaks!
The average household uses 40-70 m3 of water during a 3-month billing period. If your water consumption is much higher, you may have a leak.
The most common causes of high water bills are:
- Running toilets
- Sprinkler systems
- Water powered back-up sump pumps
- Leaky faucets
Water Quality
All municipal water is provided by the Union Water Supply System. Please refer to their Water Quality Reports for information on the quality of your drinking water.
