Genealogy Search

Families and genealogists can look up burial information on their ancestors or their own family Lot. Detailed information about the deceased's location, date of burial and a photo of the monument may be accessed on the Find a Grave website or through CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project.

If you have difficulty in conducting your own search, the Essex County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society may be able to assist you.

The Ontario Registrar General's Office holds birth, marriage and death records for people born, married or who have died in Ontario. You may contact the Office of the Registrar at 1-800-461-2156 or 1-416-325-8305.

The Town has Lots available for purchase at most of its cemeteries.
