A Municipal Budget is prepared annually to determine the operating and capital funding requirements for the year.

Financial Statements

Financial statements are prepared annually in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards. An independent accounting firm audits the annual financial statements.

Financial Information Return

We also prepare an annual Financial Information Return (FIR) for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH). This report provides a basis for comparison across Ontario's 444 municipalities.
