2023 Municipal Election Compliance Report of the Clerk

Purpose:

This compliance report is in accordance with Section 88.23(4) of the Municipal Elections Act,1996 (MEA). The MEA requires the Clerk to make available to the public a report setting out all candidates in an election and indicating whether each candidate complied with Section 88.25 of the MEA.

Section 88.25 of the MEA requires each candidate that filed their nomination papers with the Clerk, to file financial statements on or before 2:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Pursuant to Section 88.25 of the MEA, all but 5 of the below listed candidates fulfilled the requirements by the prescribed deadline. To review each candidate's financial statement, click on the candidate's name below.
