Town of Kingsville Seeking Volunteers for Annual Pumpkin Parade

Our Pollinate Kingsville Committee is looking for volunteers to help bring our annual Pumpkin Parade to life on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Lakeside Park.
Each year following Halloween, residents are invited to give their jack-o-lanterns one more night to shine by donating them to the Pumpkin Parade. The pumpkins are displayed along a lighted trail at Lakeside Park before being donated to local farms for livestock feed.
Volunteers are needed throughout the day and evening to help with several aspects of the event:
  • 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Accept donated pumpkins and help set them up along the trail
  • 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm: Help light the pumpkins and count participants
  • 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm: Collect pumpkins and prepare them for transport to local farms
The public can drop off pumpkins from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lakeside Park parking lot off Queen Street. The Pumpkin Parade trail will be open from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the upper bowl of the park.
Residents donating pumpkins are reminded that painted pumpkins and pumpkins containing toothpicks cannot be accepted for livestock feed.
Whether you can lend a hand during the afternoon, evening or cleanup shift, volunteering is a great way to be part of this unique Kingsville tradition.
