Road Work Begins October 5 for Heritage Road Extension Project

The Town of Kingsville is advising residents and motorists that the first stage of construction for the Heritage Road extension to Road 2 West will begin on Monday, October 5, 2026 (weather permitting) in the vicinity of Main Street West and Heritage Road.

The work is part of the Town's West Side Collector Road project, which will help improve transportation connectivity and support future growth on the Town's west side.

Construction will be completed in two stages, with the second phase scheduled to begin in early 2027.

Access to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout construction; however, motorists should expect occasional delays and are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly.

The Town reminds drivers to use caution when navigating construction zones and to follow all posted signage to help ensure the safety of workers and the public.
