Kingsville Urges Residents to Stay Cool Amid Heatwave August 31 - September 2

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) has issued a heat warning due to high temperatures expected between Monday, August 31 and Wednesday, September 2. Warning signs of heat-related illness include dizziness, headache, nausea or vomiting, weakness and confusion. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical attention. Residents are welcome to stop into the air-conditioned Kingsville Arena if they need a break from the heat. Open this week until 8:00 pm. In addition, the Essex County Library invites residents to cool off during their regular opening hours (Branches and Hours)

Splash Pads:

Our Splash Pads are also a great place for kids to cool off. Visit Lakeside Park, 315 Queen Street. Hours of operation are 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. (Ridgeview Park Splash Pad currently under construction).
