Kingsville Holds its Ninth Annual Pumpkin Parade on Sunday, November 1, 2026

On Sunday, November 1, 2026, Kingsville will host its annual Pumpkin Parade at Lakeside Park, 315 Queen Street. Organized by the Pollinate Kingsville Committee, the event gives residents a fun and environmentally friendly way to recycle their Halloween pumpkins. Each year, hundreds of pumpkins are collected and donated to local farms for composting or animal feed.
“It's wonderful to see so many pumpkins and to see people's creativity,” said Carol Dunn, Chair of the Pollinate Kingsville Committee. “And, of course, most importantly, the event offers a sustainable option to keep pumpkins out of landfills.”
Residents can drop off their pumpkins at the Lakeside Park parking lot off Queen Street between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on November 1. After dark, everyone is invited back to enjoy a walk through the lighted pumpkin trail from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Lakeside Park's upper bowl.
The 2nd Kingsville Scouts will be on-site offering refreshments for sale.
To ensure pumpkins can be safely used for composting or animal feed, please remove all stickers, paint, candles, toothpicks, and other non-organic materials before drop-off.
