Kingsville Continues Support for Feral Cat Management with Ongoing Voucher Program

The Town of Kingsville is reminding residents that its Feral Cat Voucher Program remains available to help manage the local feral cat population.

Feral cats are defined as cats without an owner that are not accustomed to human contact and tend to be fearful or wild. They can harm wildlife, spread diseases such as rabies, and often live in unhealthy conditions.

Recognizing these challenges, the Town of Kingsville established the Feral Cat Voucher Program to help control the feral cat population and promote a healthier, safer environment for both animals and residents.

Who Can Apply

The program is open to all Town of Kingsville residents aged 18 and older. Applicants must provide valid photo identification to confirm residency.

What the Voucher Provides

Each $75 Feral Cat Voucher can be redeemed toward the spaying or neutering and ear‑tipping of one feral cat and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Once redeemed at a participating clinic, the $75 voucher is deducted from the procedure cost, and the cat is eartipped to indicate a successful spaying or neutering. These vouchers are strictly for feral cats only

When to Apply

The program remains active year‑round. Residents may apply any time by completing the online Spay or Neuter Voucher form. Vouchers are distributed on a first-come basis, subject to availability.

Where to Get the Voucher

After applying, residents may choose to:

  • Pick up the voucher at the Municipal Office
    (2021 Division Road North) or;
  • Have it mailed directly to their home.
