Kingsville Announces Details for Migration Festival Walking Parade on Saturday, October 17

The Town of Kingsville and the Migration Festival Committee are inviting residents, families, teams, businesses and community groups to get creative and join a reimagined Migration Festival parade on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

This year, the parade is moving to Lakeside Park and becoming a walking parade. Following the parade, visitors can enjoy the Migration Festival Market and family activities.

The parade begins at 10:00 am near the Lakeside Park splash pad and travels through the park to the lower bowl.

Gather your friends, family, teammates, coworkers or community group volunteers and create a fun walking entry to showcase along the parade route. Entries could include:

Banners and signs
Costumed walkers
Costumed pets
Decorated strollers and wagons
Creative walking “floats”
Other imaginative, people-powered entries

Participants will also have the chance to win gift cards from local businesses, with prizes awarded for Best Migration or Fall-Themed Entry, Best Walking Entry, Best Wheeled Entry and Most Creative Entry.
