At its October 5, 2026, meeting (last meeting of term), Council:

Adopted the report provided by N.J. Peralta Engineering Ltd. for the replacement of the bridge over the East 3rd Concession Drain under the Drainage Act.

Approved the report provided by Dillon Consulting for replacing farm bridges and relocating the outlet for the 4th Concession Branch of the Lane Drain, and for constructing a new farm bridge on the Lane Drain, under the Drainage Act.

Adopted the report provided by N.J. Peralta Engineering Ltd. on the McDonald Drain and King’s Highway No. 3 Branch of Sturgeon Creek for a new phase of development at 2461 County Road 31 under the Drainage Act.

Adopted the report provided by R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. for the disconnection of 1199 Road 3 West from the Thorpe and Nelson drains under the Drainage Act.

Adopted the report prepared by N.J. Peralta Engineering Ltd. for drainage improvements to the Orton Drain for a new phase of greenhouse development at 3069 Graham Sideroad under the Drainage Act.

Approved the Subdivision Agreement for Tamam Gardens Phase II, containing six lots for 12 semi-detached dwelling units and three lots for nine townhouse dwelling units.

Directed Administration to add road markings, request increased speed enforcement from the OPP, and determine the cost of rumble strips near the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary.

Awarded the Financial Software Replacement project to Endeavour Solutions Inc. at an implementation cost of $276,460 (excluding HST), plus annual licensing fees.

Authorized the Mayor and Clerk to execute a Joint Use Agreement of Facilities for a five-year term with the Greater Essex County District School Board.
