At its July 13, 2026 meeting, Council:

Directed Administration to obtain public feedback on a proposal from Windsor Essex Disc Golf on the Town's citizen engagement portal, HaveYourSayKingsville.ca, and bring a report back to Council with recommendations related to the proposal

Approved a resolution supporting the draft plan of subdivision for County File No. 37-T-26003 and adopted zoning amendments
- Named the extension of Sarkis Street, north of Katie Crescent, Nick D Court and the extension of Katie Crescent to Grandview Boulevard Katie Crescent

Removed a temporary "hold" on a lakeshore residential development property, allowing it to move forward under approved zoning rules
- Awarded the tender for the reconstruction of the pickleball courts adjacent to the Kingsville Arena Complex and permitted the use of an additional $125,000 from Park Property Reserves to cover the anticipated funding deficit
- Approved the Financial Statements for the Corporation of the Town of Kingsville for the year ending December 31, 2025, as audited by HMID LLP and applied the 2025 general budget surplus to the Fire Equipment Reserve
- Extended the Waste Collection Contract with Green For Life Environmental Incorporated (GFL) for an additional year
- Branded the upcoming August 29, 2026, open streets event as the “Downtown Social”

Approved temporary road closures on Division and Main from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm on August 29, 2026 to facilitate the Downtown Social event

Approved temporary closures on Wigle, Division and Park from 3:00 pm onwards on November 21, 2026 for the Fantasy of Lights Parade
- Requested the County of Essex undertake a review and study of land use policies in relation to artificial intelligence (AI) data centres
