Public Notice of Pesticide Use on April 18, 2025

The Town of Kingsville intends to control invasive, noxious and hazardous weeds around the baseball diamonds and playing surfaces within the Municipality.Commencing August 18, 2025, weather permitting to August 29, 2025.

We are controlling invasive plant and poisonous plants under the Public Works and Safety exemption to the Cosmetic Pesticide Ban in subsection 7.1 of the Pesticides Act. for the promotion of public health or safety and to remove invasive plant and poisonous plants.

The following pesticides registered under the Pest Control Act (Canada) will be used:

  • Fiesta Herbicide (Reg# 30560), containing the active ingredient Iron, present as FeHEDTA.
  • Munger Horticultural Vinegar Herbicide (Reg#29405), containing the active ingredients Acetic Acid
