The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) and the Town of Kingsville (Town) undertook a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to upgrade the Kingsville Wastewater Pollution Control Plant and Lagoons. The study followed the Schedule ‘C’ Municipal Class EA process as set out by the Municipal Engineers Association.

The Town’s Pollution Control Plant and Lagoons service the Town of Kingsville and the community of Ruthven (see Figure 1).

Project Status

This Notice of Completion serves as the final mandatory point of public contact. The Environmental Study Report (ESR), associated technical memoranda, reports, and appendices are available on the Town's citizen engagement portal, HaveYourSayKingsville.ca. There will be a 30-day review period, starting on March 16, 2026 and ending on April 16, 2026.
