Due to an extension of the Cold Warning issued by The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, the Town of Kingsville has opened a Warming Station at the Kingsville Arena. Residents can also warm up at the Kingsville Branch of the Essex County Library. 

Residents are encouraged to stay warm and keep pets inside; remember, exposure to cold weather can increase the risk of cold-related injuries including hypothermia and frostbite.

Warming Station Hours

Kingsville Arena - 1741 Jasperson Drive, Kingsville

• Friday, January 23 – until 10:30 pm
• Saturday, January 24 – 8:00 am – 10:30 pm
• Sunday, January 25 – 8:00 am – 10:30 pm

Essex County Library Kingsville Branch - 40 Main Street West

• Saturday, January 24 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Anyone seeking overnight accommodations can contact the County of Essex Homelessness Hub at 226-340-4952. Overnight hours are 10:00 pm-8:00 am office hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
