Couple walking on the street during Open Streets This Saturday, June 19, 2021, marks the first Saturday of the summer that Kingsville will close a section of Main and Division to open streets to pedestrians to support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. There will also be an Outdoor Night Market. Open Streets is every Saturday from 4:00 pm-10:30 pm until September 11, 2021. Road closures will begin an hour before to allow vendors time to set up.

Basketball Court at Lions ParkAt its June 14, 2021 meeting, Kingsville Town Council voted to amend the Parks Curfew Bylaw 127- 2004 to enact an earlier curfew at Lions Park, 23 Mill Street, for the remainder of the 2021 calendar year. Dan Wolicki, the Town’s Manager of Municipal Facilities and Properties, proposed the amendment in response to concerns raised by residents regarding park misuse, late-night loitering and disruptive behaviour after previous attempts to mitigate the behaviour.
