The Mayor and Council are elected at large for a 4 year term. They are a dedicated group of like minded citizens of Kingsville who, working together, set strategic priories that help maintain our Town's Strategic vision.

Mayor Dennis Rogers
Dennis Rogers is a family man with an extensive business background. He received his business degree from Wayne State University, and headed operations for two locations of a large corporate hospitality chain in Ohio. In 2012 Dennis and his wife returned to their hometown to raise their three children and start their business, Green Heart. Green Heart was expanded to a retail store, Green Heart Kitchen, in 2019, Green Heart Farms in 2021 and finally Green Heart Inn in 2022. Dennis has helped bring millions of dollars of tourism spending into Kingsville and has assisted in securing federal and provincial tax dollars to reinvest into our community.

Deputy Mayor Kimberly DeYong
Kimberly DeYong was first elected to Council in 2018. She works as the Program Director of the Kingsville Community Centre. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology with a minor in Commerce from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. Kimberly regularly volunteers at the Kingsville Food Bank, as well as many other organizations and local events. She has been married for 28 years to Dean DeYong, a Kingsville Firefighter, and they have two teenage daughters, Lauren and Morgan.

Councillor Tony Gaffan
Tony Gaffan was born, raised and educated in the Town of Kingsville. As a committed family man, he sees the Town of Kingsville as a big extension of his own family. Tony works at Gaffan's Apex Barber Shop, a fourth-generation business that has served Kingsville for 68 years. He has volunteered thousands of hours to local programs and events, supporting community groups, local churches, and schools. This is Tony's third term on Council.

Councillor Debby Jarvis-Chausse
Debby Jarvis-Chausse has resided in Kingsville since she was 11 years old. She raised her two daughters as a single-mother and has been working hard since her teens. She has been a cashier at Zehrs for over 29 years, and has a long history of volunteering for the Ladies Auxiliary and Kingsville Legion, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and various community fundraiser dinners and events. Debby shares her four grandchildren with her spouse, Art.

Councillor Sheri Lowrie
Sheri Lowrie has worked for the University of Windsor for the last 20 years in varying roles. She has been a Program Administrator, an Academic Advisor, and a Recruiter where she travelled Ontario visiting high schools and colleges. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature with minors in Communications, Media & Film along with Sociology. Sheri is the president of a local women’s hockey league; she volunteers her time with the Kingsville Music Society and Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary and sits as a member of Women United. She married Ryan Lowrie in 2012 and they have two children, Jackson and Shae.

Councillor Thomas Neufeld
Thomas Neufeld moved to Kingsville in 1998 from a small Northern Town. In 2004, he married a nice local girl, Angie Peterson, and they had four children. Looking to become more involved, Thomas joined the Kingsville Active Transportation Committee, which sparked his interest in local politics. Since then, Thomas has served on multiple Committees of Council and attended countless Council meetings. This is Thomas' third Council term.

Councillor Larry Patterson
Larry Patterson has been a Kingsville resident for over 64 years, 35 of which he has lived in Cottam where he volunteered for many sports teams and served on the Gosfield North Fire Department. He is happily married for over 46 years to his wife Shelley. Larry was the last Provincial Certified Road Superintendent for the former Gosfield North Municipality. Now retired, he continues to serve the community as a Councillor and community group volunteer.
