Taxi companies

There are two licensed taxicab companies in Kingsville:

Taxi licensing

For the protection of the public, the Town of Kingsville licenses and sets rules for taxicabs and taxicab drivers.

Taxi drivers must fill out an application form [insert application form] and bring it back to the Town. They must also submit the following documents:

• 2 current passport pictures
• Ontario Driver's Licence
• Police Clearance and Request for Vulnerable Sector Check
• Application fee of $25

Taxi brokers must out an application form [insert application form] and bring it back to the Town for processing. Brokers must also submit the following documents:

• Vehicle ownership
• Car insurance policy
• Ministry of Transportation Safety Standards Certificate for each vehicle
• Application fee
