Repair and maintenance 

Our Public Works team maintains 246.89 km of road and 44 km of sidewalks in Town. They are responsible for: 

• Gravel resurfacing
• Grading and dust control
• Road patching
• Street cleaning
• Road closings
• Catch basin maintenance and repairs
• Boulevard maintenance
• Sidewalk maintenance
• Weed spraying
• Tree planting and trimming/removal on road allowances
• Sign maintenance / replacement
• Stock inventory control
• Snow removal
• Roads and right of way maintenance

Winter maintenance 

During winter weather, the Town is responsible for clearing snow from streets and sidewalks. Find timelines for plowing your road on our Snow Removal page.
