Town of Kingsville Energy Plan
The Town of Kingsville has an Energy Conservation and Demand Management (ECDM) Plan to protect the interests of our residents and ensure Kingsville obtains the best possible value from our operating budgets. This Plan helps us:
- Identify energy conservation opportunities
- Selectively implement the best projects
- Measure effectiveness
Our commitment to energy conservation and reduction in energy use assists us in our goal of being a sustainable community while operating in a cost-effective manner that respects taxpayer dollars.
Essex County Regional Energy Plan
Climate change issues have become a greater priority for the Windsor Essex Region, and the community has been coming together to address climate concerns.
A Community Task Force, consisting of 50 individuals from 7 municipalities, 2 First Nations, 2 post-secondary institutions, 4 utilities, 2 school boards and over 10 community organizations or businesses, were an integral piece of developing the Essex County Regional Energy Plan through providing input and advice on key points.
