Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture Master Plan Update
Version 2 (September 13, 2018)
The Town of Kingsville is updating its Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture Master Plan. The Plan will guide decisions over the next five to ten years. Through research and public input, the Master Plan will examine:
- parks, open spaces and trails
- recreation, sport and arts/cultural facilities
- programs, events and activities (including those delivered by the community and Town)
- operations (such as policy development, staffing, communication, etc.)
- financial and implementation strategies
There are many ways to get involved!
- Public Survey – Complete our survey – it will take about 10 minutes and will be open until November 5, 2018.
- Launch Event (Public Open House) – A drop-in open house will be held on Tuesday October 2, 2018 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Kingsville Arena Complex (1741 Jasperson Drive). Residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project and provide their input on local priorities.
- Stakeholder Focus Groups – Key stakeholders (such as local organizations, agencies and user groups) will be invited to provide their input through small group sessions in Fall 2018.
- Draft Master Plan – Additional consultation will be scheduled in Spring 2019 to allow for public review of the Draft Master Plan before it is presented to Town Council.
