Calling all Artists!

The Great Migration Paint Out is a four-day "en Plein air" painting competition starting Thursday, October 19, 2023.

• First Prize: $1000 
• Second Prize: $500 
• Third Prize: $300
• Additional prizes are available to be won in different categories.

Register online! Early bird registration is $35 until September 21. After that date, registration cost is $55.00.

Win more by entering the Two Hour Quick Paint Competition at Mettawas Park. Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. $10.00 to participate. Must provide your own canvas or panel and materials. First prize is $300.00. Register online, at check-in, or at the park from 9:00 am - 9:30 am. See schedule for judging and wet work sale times.

Children and Youth Category (No Entry Fee)

Outdoor painting, "en Plein air" art competition for children and youth. Registration is free!

Sunday, October 22, 2023 Great Migration Paint Out Art Reception "Show and Sale" at the Grovedale Arts & Culture Centre

The Great Migration Paint Out entries will be on display at the Grovedale Arts & Culture Centre for judging and many will be available to purchase. Meet the artists and vote for your favourite piece for the People’s Choice Award, while enjoying music, finger food from the Kingsville Lions Club, and a cash bar. Award presentations begin at 4:00 pm.

Friday, October 20, 2023, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Grovedale Arts & Culture Centre

Come help kick-off this year’s Migration Fall Festival with food, drinks and live music. The kick-off will be at the Grovedale Arts & Culture Centre, 103 Park Street. Tickets will be available to purchase in advance at the Kingsville Arena, or can be bought at the door of the event.

Saturday, October 21, 2023, 10:00 am at Kingsville Downtown (Wigle Avenue, Main Street East, Division Road South)

Welcome back the oldest Parade in Kingsville!

The parade will run north up Wigle Avenue, turn west onto Main Street, turn south onto Division Road, and end at Lakeside Park.

Saturday, October 21, 2023 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Lions Park, 23 Mill Street West

Various activities for children will be starting at Lions Park and the Kingsville OPP Station after the Parade. Jack Miner's Migratory Bird Sanctuary is also running activities.

• KEYS EarlyON activities in their outdoor classroom
• Creative Mode Arts Centre: Join the team from Creative Mode for some musical fun! Play exciting instruments, play some freeze dance, and more!

Kingsville OPP Station

• Join the Kingsville Community Policing Committee on the front lawn of the OPP Station for some pumpkin carving!
