August 7 - Dave Wilson (Acoustic) |
Being raised on the outskirts of a small farm town brings opportunity to discover wonder and delight in what may seem like frivolous nonsense to others. One may find himself shooting hockey pucks at a garage door for hours, catching and releasing frogs in a backyard pond, or perhaps rehearsing the script of Toy Story into the small hours of night. One may also pick up a guitar or sit at the piano too. Growing up as his own audience, he takes the same approach to his art. Dave Wilson puts his faith in an organic and unabashed approach to songwriting, as he explores the fringes of his fears and invites his audience in with openness and vulnerability. On Nov 30th, 2024, he released his debut solo work, the Fine EP, live at Phog Lounge in ‘the big city’ of Windsor. In 2025, he aims to continue developing his compositions with his band (Fed Lemon) and to record music with them, as he plans to record another batch of songs on his own. |
August 14 - Saints Down (Rock/Pop Fusion) |
Southern Ontario's Saints Down is the brainchild of bassist/guitarist Rob Palombo and vocalist Benjamin Joseph Doncom. This dynamic duo, fueled by a shared love for music and a commitment to creative expression, brings a unique blend of rock and pop to the scene.
