Kingsville Media ReleaseLast night, the Town of Kingsville hosted its first-ever drive-thru Santa Claus Parade with overwhelming results. While many were impressed with the experience, the Town acknowledges there were long waits and traffic rerouting concerns, some of which stemmed from miscommunication on the municipality’s part. On Monday October 26, 2020 Kingsville Town Council enacted a Lighting and Odour Nuisance By-Law that took effect immediately. 
The Municipal By-law Enforcement Officers have since been in contact with several greenhouse operators, and are working on formulating individual plans to attain compliance with respect to light nuisances. The Town of Kingsville is pleased to introduce John Quennell as a Deputy Fire Chief, effective immediately. Quennell’s temporary appointment includes leadership and oversight for the Kingsville Fire Department while the current Fire Chief and Deputy Chief are on indefinite leaves of absence at this time.
Quennell’s most recent tenure was at the Town of Lakeshore as Deputy Fire Chief. Previously he was a firefighter with the City of Windsor from 1978 until 2010,...
