Kingsville Fire and Rescue Collects Toys During Santa Claus Parade

Posted On Monday November 15, 2021

Kingsville is excited to present the 18th Annual Santa Claus Parade on November 20, 2021, at 6:00 pm in Downtown Kingsville. During the parade, Kingsville Fire and Rescue will be collecting toys to donate to the Kingsville and Gosfield South Goodfellows.

“We want to ensure every child in our community wakes up to a present on Christmas morning,” said Fire Chief John Quennell.

To donate, bring a new, unwrapped toy and hand it to one of our Fire Department personnel when they pass in the parade line. Fire staff will also accept cash donations, which they will use to purchase toys or gift cards for the drive.

“All these toys stay local and benefit kids in Kingsville and the surrounding area,” Chief Quennell stated.

Toys and donations may also be dropped off directly at the Kingsville Fire Department South Station (1720 Division St N) Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Spread some holiday cheer with a toy donation at this year’s Santa Claus Parade. Then follow Santa to Lakeside Park for the 29th annual Fantasy of Lights Opening Ceremonies, where Santa will flick the switch to light all the displays in the park. Sip hot chocolate, listen to Christmas carolers and watch the fireworks display. Full festival details are available on our website at www.fantasyoflights.ca.
