Kingsville Town Council will review a new Development Charge Bylaw and the underlying Development Charge Background Study, which has been used to inform the new proposed rates, at an upcoming public meeting.

Kingsville Plants Living Christmas Tree at Carnegie

The Town of Kingsville is having a “Christmas ribbon-cutting Ceremony” for our new living Carnegie Christmas Tree. Join us on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, for live holiday music and hot chocolate from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with the ribbon cutting happening at 4:30 pm. Kids can bring their letters for Santa, and everyone can browse the Arts Society of Kingsville (ASK) art exhibits in the Carnegie. Come early to shop and stay late to dine in our BIA district.

Road 2 East Closures and Project Update

The Town of Kingsville is nearing completion of the Road 2 East Project for the 2022 season. The following closures will occur before the road reopens to the public for the winter:
- December 6 – 8, 2022:The intersection of Road 2 East and Kratz Sideroad will be completely closed. No traffic will be permitted thru this intersection to allow for construction in this area. Detour signage will be in place, directing motorists away from this intersection.

Town Amends On-Street Parking Restrictions During Winter Control Operations

The Town of Kingsville has changed its on-street parking by-law to provide residents greater parking flexibility during the winter. Previously, the Town banned on-street parking from midnight to 6:00 am from November 15 to April 15 each year. This ban allowed snow plow operators to clear routes curb-to-curb without facing obstacles or revisiting areas previously inaccessible due to parked cars.
