Santa Claus Parade & Fantasy of Lights Opening Ceremonies happening this Saturday, November 16, 2024

Fantasy of Lights festivities begin this Saturday, November 16, 2024.

The annual Santa Claus Parade, presented by SK Cornerstone, starts at 5:00 pm. The route starts at Main Street East and Wigle Avenue moving down Main Street East, then turning down Division Street South, and ends at Lakeside Park. Read our safety tips guide for a great parade experience.

After that at 7:00 pm, everyone is invited to Lakeside Park Pavilion to help the mayor flip the switch and light up the park.

Parade Safety Tips for Saturday's Santa Claus Parade

The Town of Kingsville looks forward to the Santa Claus Parade, sponsored by SK Cornerstone, this Saturday, November 16, 2024. Whether you're attending or not, please note the parade time and planned road closures to prevent any travel delays that day.

The parade starts at 5:00 pm. It leaves from the intersection of Wigle, turns west onto Main and south onto Division, ending at Park. See a map of the parade route. Wigle closes at 3:00 pm to allow for staging and reopens at 6:15 pm.

Kingsville Adopts Short-Term Rental (STR) By-Law

Kingsville Town Council adopted a By-law to license, regulate and govern Short-Term Rentals at its November 4, 2024 Regular Meeting.

Short-term rentals (STRs) are structures, or part thereof, used for temporary lodging for a rental period of twenty-eight (28) consecutive days or less in exchange for payment. STRs include bed and breakfasts, hotels, motels and inns. Short-term accommodations without payment are not considered STRs.

Kingsville’s Fantasy of Lights Festival kicks off Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 5:00 pm with the Santa Claus Parade presented by SK Cornerstone followed by Opening Ceremonies at Lakeside Park.

Join us along the parade route to see all the floats. After the parade, at 7:00 pm, we’ll gather at Lakeside Park for Christmas carols before Mayor Rogers helps Santa flip the switch and transform Lakeside Park into a sea of glittering lights.
