Update on Road 2 East Project

The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce that all watermain work for the Road 2 East reconstruction project is now complete and the road is now temporarily open to traffic from Division to Jasperson.

Saturday Road Closure for Hogs for Hospice Ride

Kingsville is excited to announce that Hogs for Hospice "Tour the Tip" riders will be stopping for lunch in our town on Saturday, August 5th.
Road closures
In order to host the Hogs for Hospice, we'll close a section of Main and Division at the following intersections from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The procession of motorcycles will begin to arrive starting at approximately 11:45am.

Storm Cleanup Update

The Town of Kingsville is pleased to report that all health and safety concerns related to the recent storm have been addressed. Our staff has worked hard to clear branches from municipal right-of-ways and roads, and a final sweep is currently underway. Arena Ice Pad Update - On Schedule Following 'Monolithic Pour'

The Arena Ice Slab Project is currently on schedule and progressing very well. We achieved a critical phase on Monday, July 31st when the contractor poured the concrete. This is referred to as a "monolithic pour" which means "continuous pour," and it took the construction crew almost 21 hours to complete. After 25 loads of concrete, equivalent to almost 200 cubic meters, our contractor and consultant are pleased with the results, and all testing has been highly positive.

Additional Yard Waste Pick-up
There is an extra Yard Waste Pick-up on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 for residents hardest hit by the storm. The usual Yard Waste Pick-up requirements apply.
- Brush and branches must be tied in bundles that are no more than 45 lbs (20 kg) and no more than 3' high (.9 m) by 4' long (1.2 m), and the diameter cannot exceed 3" (7.5 cm)
- Untied, loose piles of brush will NOT be collected
