A screening of The Polar Express is coming to the Gosfield Communications Community Centre (124 Fox Street) on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In this heartwarming holiday adventure, generations will come together for an evening of wonder, hot cocoa, popcorn, and cherished memories. The cost is $5.00 per admission and is open to everyone.

New Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm Requirements Coming January 1, 2026

Starting January 1, 2026, new provincial safety requirements will expand where carbon monoxide (CO) alarms must be installed in existing homes across Ontario. These updates are part of the Fire Code (O. Reg. 213/07) and aim to better protect residents from carbon monoxide, an invisible, odourless, and deadly gas.
Who Is Affected
The updated rules apply to all existing homes that have any of the following:
- A fuel-burning appliance (for example, natural gas, propane, oil, or wood furnace, water heater, stove)

The Town of Kingsville has been advised of a planned power outage tomorrow (Saturday, November 29, 2025) between 4:30 am and 9:30 am. The outage is necessary so Hydro One can make improvements on some of its major assets. It will impact approximately 1,400 residences and businesses and could affect traffic signals.
