Kingsville to Install Westbound Right-Hand Turn Lane on Main at Jasperson Beginning July 8, 2024

The Town of Kingsville is installing a westbound right-hand turn lane on Main Street at Jasperson Drive to improve traffic capacity in the area. Construction begins the week of July 8, 2024, weather permitting. Recognizing the high traffic volume in this area, we expect traffic inconvenience during the estimated six-week construction period.

At its June 24, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Approved the Financial Statements for the year ending December 31, 2023, along with the 2023 Treasurer’s Statement of Development Charge Reserve Funds, and the 2023 Statement of Investment Activity. Notice of Pesticide Use

Please be advised that the Town of Kingsville will begin using certain pesticides registered under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada) to control noxious weeds commencing on July 10, 2024, weather permitting, and ending September 29, 2024. This is required to promote public health and safety. The Town’s noxious weed control program falls under the Public Works exemption of the Cosmetic Pesticides Ban.

Council will review the following applications at its July 8, 2024 meeting:
154 Heritage Road: An application for a zoning bylaw amendment. The developer wants to modify the approved Draft Plan of Subdivision for Heritage Gardens. The original plan included 50 semi-detached dwellings, but the proposed amendment suggests changing this to 15 single-family dwelling units and 28 semi-detached dwelling units, making a total of 43 dwelling units.
