Kingsville Opens Repko Dog Park June 7th

The Town of Kingsville is excited to announce the grand opening of the Repko Dog Park at 440 Road 2 East on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Join us for an afternoon of fun featuring pet-friendly vendors from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:00 pm.

Kingsville Offers Two Recreational Subsidy Programs for Qualifying Residents

The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce two subsidy programs to support low-income individuals and families, making recreation programs more accessible to our residents.
Pathway to Potential (P2P), funded by the County of Essex and the City of Windsor Social Investment Plan, has provided financial assistance to low-income Kingsville residents for many years. It has recently rebranded to the Recreation Access Program. Eligible residents can receive up to 90% of the qualifying program costs.

Our Parks and Recreation team have officially kicked off the season for summer fun!
As of this May long weekend, the following are now open:
- Splashpads (Lakeside Park and Ridgeview Park)
- Horseshoe Pits at Ridgeview Park (bring your own horseshoes)
- Inclusive Playground at Lions Park (be sure to check out the newly added sections of rubberized surface)
- Cedar Island Beach and the Mobi-Mat
- Beach Volleyball at Cedar Island Beach (bring your own equipment)

Kingsville Opens Guided Walking Meditation Trail on the Chrysler Canada Greenway

The Town of Kingsville proudly presents a unique addition to our greenspaces, the Guided Walking Mediation Trail on the Chrysler Canada Greenway. This innovative project, is a collaboration between the Town's Communities in Bloom Committee, the Estate of Health Holistic Wellness Centre, and the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA). The project aims to help visitors practice mindfulness and foster a stronger connection with nature.
