Kingsville Celebrates Pollinator Week – June 17 to 23

Kingsville's Communities in Bloom Committee encourages everyone to participate in National Pollinator Week, an international celebration of pollinators happening June 17 to 23, 2024.
Pollinators are birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles and other small mammals that pollinate plants and are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce natural resources by helping plants reproduce.

The Town of Kingsville is excited to announce its first Kingsville Block Party is on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Cottam. Join us on County Road 34 between Belle River Road and Hill Street from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
This month’s theme is “Sweet Summer” and includes a variety of vendors, several food trucks, lawn games and chalk drawing, and live music by Fresh Breath.
Unite with friends, family and neighbours for fun, food, music, games and shopping.

Lawn Watering ByLaw - Annual Reminder

Union Water Supply System (UWSS) serves Kingsville, Leamington, Essex and Lakeshore. Kingsville has a Lawn Watering Bylaw to assist the water treatment plant with reducing peak demands on hot days that helps everyone share water resources without putting unnecessary strain on the system.
Watering your lawn or garden is based on your house number. Odd-number addresses can water on odd calendar days, and even-number addresses can water on even calendar days. You can water from 5:00 am to 8:00 am...

At its May 27, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Approved a consent application to sever an existing dwelling, deemed surplus to the needs of the applicants’ farming at 366 North Talbot Road.
