The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) and the Town of Kingsville are undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to expand or upgrade the Kingsville Wastewater Collection and Treatment System (wastewater system). The study will follow the Schedule C Municipal Class EA process as set out by the Municipal Engineers Association.

You may have noticed a recent uptake in developer-led meetings requesting public input on proposed developments. We want to ensure residents understand this consultation is separate from and before the formal application process. These are pre-application meetings organized by the developer, with content and proposals that are brand new to Administration. The Town of Kingsville is launching a facilities review of all town-owned buildings. Council identified a Facility Review as a top 2023 priority.
The facilities review will include analysis of each facility’s general physical condition, anticipated future costs of maintenance and repairs, as well as evaluate current and future uses. This will include consultation with user groups and the opportunity for residents to provide input.
