You may have noticed a recent uptake in developer-led meetings requesting public input on proposed developments. We want to ensure residents understand this consultation is separate from and before the formal application process. These are pre-application meetings organized by the developer, with content and proposals that are brand new to Administration. At its February 27, 2023 meeting, Kingsville Town Council passed a Zoning amendment to comply with the More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022 (Bill 23). This Act is the Provincial response to helping more Ontarians find a home that meets their needs and budget.
