Kingsville Town Council will review the following application at its December 11, 2023, meeting:
165 County Road 34 West: An application for the removal of a holding symbol. The applicant plans to demolish the current structures on the property and build a new single-detached dwelling. However, the property is currently in a holding zone that prohibits any modifications or additions to existing buildings. As a result, the applicant is requesting the removal of the holding symbol.. Kingsville Town Council will consider amendments to the Fees and Charges Bylaw and the Water and Sewage Rate Bylaw at its Monday, November 20, 2023 meeting. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm.
Charging fees for services that benefit specific users helps us reduce the burden on taxpayers as a whole. We review our fees and charges annually to ensure they are set at the appropriate levels to maintain efficiencies in the municipality.

Cottam Facilities Review: Town Schedules Public Information Centre

Kingsville will hold a public information centre (PIC) to gather feedback and insights from the community on a new facility for Cottam.
As the next step in our Facilities Review, the Committee of the Whole asked Administration to work with groups like the Essex County Library, Cottam Baseball, Cottam Soccer, and Cottam Rotary, engage the community in understanding community needs, and develop a plan for replacing the Cottam Community Centre and Ridgeview Park Field House.

Kingsville Seeks Resident Input on New Strategic Plan

Kingsville is seeking input from residents to inform the development of a new strategic plan and long-term community vision (Kingsville 2040). The Town has launched an online project page on our public engagement portal (HaveYourSayKingsville) to get feedback. Kingsville Council is working with Administration and Consultants from Colliers Project Leaders to create the Plan, outlining actions the municipality will take to move the community forward during the remainder of Council's term.
