At its May 27, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Approved a consent application to sever an existing dwelling, deemed surplus to the needs of the applicants’ farming at 366 North Talbot Road.
- Endorsed a design option for the new Cottam Community Centre and directed Administration to proceed with a detailed design.

Short-Term Rental Survey Results Presented at May 13, 2024 Committee of the Whole

The results of the Short Term Rental survey are in. Administration will present the survey results at the May 13, 2024, Committee of the Whole Meeting, which will take place at the Unico Community Centre at 6:00 pm.
This survey was open from January 29, 2024 to May 8, 2024. We want to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help inform Council's decisions about short-term rentals in the community.

At its May 6, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Directed Administration to provide a letter of “Municipal Significance” for the Kingsville Pro Rodeo so the event may obtain a licence to serve alcohol.

Kingsville Reminds BLRH Owners to Register by May 15 Deadline

The Town of Kingsville reminds all Boarding, Lodging, and Rooming House (BLRH) owners to register for a BLRH licence before the May 15, 2024 deadline.
The BLRH licence is a new requirement for all BLRH owners and operators within the Town. See By-law 03-2024. Each BLRH must obtain and maintain a BLRH licence, valid for one year and costing $100 per structure.

Council Brief from the April 22, 2024 Meeting

At its April 22, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Approved a Consent Application B-2024-8 to create a new lot at 134 County Road 34 W, subject to certain conditions. They have also approved By-Law 34-2024 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 1-2014. As per the amendment, the zoning on the newly created parcel will be "Central Commercial with exception 2 (C2-2)" and the retained parcel will be "Residential Zone 2 Rural/Urban with exception 1 (R2.2-1)".
