Kingsville Food Bank Finds New Home at Lions Hall

The Town of Kingsville is happy to announce that the Food Bank is moving to Lions Hall. This Lions Club generously donated Lions Hall and Lions Park, located at 21 Mill Street North, to the Town in 2003.
The Hall will now provide space to the Food Bank and other service groups looking to book meeting space. At the Key Transfer Ceremony on January 16, 2025, Mayor Rogers expressed his excitement about how this new collaboration will benefit more local service groups.

Notice of Passing of Zoning By-Law Amendment

The Council of the Town of Kingsville passed By-law 01-2025 on January 13, 2025
By-law 01-2025 amends the Town of Kingsville Comprehensive Zoning By-law 1-2014, Section 4.2 – Accessory Buildings & Structures, to the following:
- Section 4.2 (h) Accessory buildings and structures shall not exceed the following heights:
- in residential zones within the primary and secondary settlement area – 5.8 m (19 ft.)
- in residential zones or lots under 2 ha that are outside the settlement area - 6.5 m (21.3 ft)
Dog Owners: purchase your lifetime dog license online

Effective January 1, 2024, the Town of Kingsville moved to a lifetime dog-licensing program. Under the program, dog owners are only required to purchase a new “lifetime” license at a one-time fee of $75.00, if the following applies:
- Newly acquired dogs
- New residents to the Town of Kingsville
- Transfer of ownership within the municipality
As a reminder these new tags are identified as silver with the Town logo and a four-digit number and will remain with your dog for his/her lifetime.

Kingsville Begins Short-Term Rental Licensing Program

Applications for a Short-Term Rental Licence are now available on the Town’s website at www.kingsville.ca/STR.
On November 4, 2024, Kingsville Town Council adopted By-law 82-2024, which mandates that all Short-Term Rentals (STRs) in the Town must be licensed to operate or advertise.
This new regulation aims to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards within our community. The creation of the licensing program included extensive public consultation from residents and stakeholders.
