Recreation ProgramsKingsville's Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing healthy living options for the community. Programs that are fun, affordable and accessible to residents and visitors are fundamental to the department. Parks & Recreation adopted the Southwestern Ontario in Motion health promotion strategy to promote physical activity for health benefits! The Recreation Department is a key facilitator for community events, particularly in two festivals (Migration Festival & Fantasy of Lights), seasonal sports and facilitates for minor sports organizations, community development, including Kingsville Skateboard Park and Active Transportation Committee. In addition, low-cost rental opportunities are available in our community facilities for your special events, meeting, parties and receptions. Our mission supports and promotes healthy and vibrant lifestyle for all! The Town of Kingsville presents Shows by the Shore, a series of outdoor movie nights at Lakeside Park, located at 31 Queen Street, Kingsville and Cottam Ridgeview Park. Residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. BBQ, beverages and popcorn will be available and will support Kingsville Lions Club and Cottam Minor Ball. Donations will be accepted to support recreation programs in Kingsville. The event starts at 7:30 pm and the movie will be shown after dusk, approximately 9:00 pm when the sun will be setting.
