REVERSE 911

REVERSE 911 is a telephone emergency notification system implemented by the County of Essex.  This system allows our emergency services and coordinators to notify a large number of residents and businesses in a specific area that are affected by the event of an incident such as boil water advisories, fires, etc.

The system is based on computer software that incorporates mapping information and telephone databases. Unfortunately, the telephone database does not include unlisted telephone numbers or cellular/wireless numbers.
